Stanley completed his PhD studies on the endangered Black-throat Finch. He is recognised as an authority regarding conservation of this species.

Diamond Sparrows—Jason Holmes
Diamonds are a local native whose numbers have dwindled in the wild. They are a highly sought after species that can be difficult to breed. Jason has been successfully breeding Diamonds in a variety of setups over many years.

Mikayla is a keen junior from the Hawkesbury Finch Club. This terrific quiz is much more difficult than expected. At the Wollongong club there were members unable to identify calls of birds they’ve bred for 30+ years. Let’s see if Sydney members can outdo their Hawkesbury and Wollongong counterparts!
